Happy Duck Day. Had to work today. >_<
Getting to work was stressful. Police blocked off like the whole 34th street, so had to walk in a packed narrow crowd of people all the way to Times Square. >_<
It's getting bitter cold and I have a sore throat and stuffed nose. x_x

Went to
Rockefeller Center
today! It's a pretty nice area. Went there back in 2000, but don't remember too much from that trip. The Christmas tree isn't up yet, but the skating rink is open and there was a decent size crowd around the area as expected.
Also went into
St. Patrick's Cathedral
. This is the first time I stepped foot into a chuch in some time and is the first time I've been inside a church of this magnitude! Was pretty interesting.
Two photo sets today, Rockefeller Center and a seperate set for 5th Avenue Midtown in the
Photos
section.

Went to take photos at Grand Central Terminal today. Photos were BAD! :(
The lighting is very poor for photography in Grand Central. That, and being told I couldn't take photos of certain areas twice left me feeling kind of down and depressed. -_-
I wanted to take a photo inside Hudson News Stand, and the guy said I couldn't. I think he was just being an ass though.
Anyway, take a look at my crappy photos of
Grand Central
.
And Happy Halloween people.

Went to Central Park for the first time today. I sort of didn't want to leave the house because it was cold and it looked like a gloomy day out. But after I headed out, it got better and the sun finally came out in the afternoon. :)
Central Park is pretty awesome. I didn't know it was so hip since I've never been there. They are already ice skating in the rink, and I saw these breakdance/flip performers as well.
My camera battery died on me again, this is the 2nd time it died while I was out shooting. I guess it's because I'm starting to leave the camera on all the time while I'm walking around. I didn't want to hassle with turning it on and off, so I pretty much leave it on. I am thinking about getting another battery for backup.
Check out the photos I took in
Central Park
.
And yes, it is getting mighty cold. Oh dear, soooo hard to wake up in the morning.

Went to the
DigitalLife
convention today. It was pretty neat. Lots of gaming tournaments and gaming stations. Check out some of the photos I took in the
Photos
section.
On a colder note, it's getting pretty spiffy cold now. It's pass the hoodie temperature, which sucks. "Hoodie cold" is the coldest I ever want it to be.

It was raining and raining most of the day Friday and all day Saturday. My shoes were soaked, socks were wet, pants were wet, and pretty much everything is wet outside. -_-
I saw so many broken umbrellas in every trash can as I was walking through Chinatown. People just get frustrated when it rains and once that flurry of wind picks up and makes their umbrella flip-flop, they just junk it I suppose.
The city is interesting when it rains though. I need to figure out a good way to film in the rain to capture the scene.
Today, I went to Union Square sort of late and took some photos. It was a gloomy day. My Panasonic doesn't take photos well in low light... sigh. Take a look at in the
Photos
section.

Added a mini photo set of my Wushu Shoes in the

Been pretty sick the past weekend, so didn't do any filming or anything. Will maybe start to work on my next project this weekend.
New York weather sucks!!! >_<

My first film project "New York Table Tennis" is released!
Check it out in the
Projects
section. I was up till 7AM last night messing with the footage. Why is
Adobe Premiere
so complicated? Either way, enjoy!

I've really got to get back into a better sleeping routine. This week has been crazy and I've been staying up till 5 a couple nights, including tonight. Not good. :(
I finished, for the most part, all the interface of the Blog Management on the administrative end. Next thing to work on is the Photo Management interface.
You all don't know what I'm talking about, but what I'll do in the future is have the NGNY's database replicated. Then I will create a demo account for people to
Login
and see the administrative end of NGNY, giving them full access to play around with the demo database. This will be good for demonstrative purposes as part of my portfolio.
On another note, how come I hardly get any comments? Is nobody reading what I have to say?! >_<
