Washington Square Park / NYU

I've walked by Washington Square Park a few times before, and have been meaning to photograph the area. I was under the impression that it was a nice park, but there are lots of shady looking characters at this park who say 'hey man' or 'yo guy, what's up' to random people. I don't know what the deal is since it's my first time actually in the park. Rumor has it that lots of drug deals go on here?<BR><BR> Nevertheless, the Washington Square Arch is a notable monument of this area put forth to commemorate George Washington of course. Eariler photos of the Arch will likely show it framing the World Trade Center in the distance. Interesting place, nonetheless.<BR><BR> Photos from in and around NYU as well.
